How do I know if I need to replace my windows or just repair them?

There are a few clear signs it’s time for a replacement. If your windows are difficult to open or close, feel drafty even when shut, or have condensation between the glass panes (indicating a broken seal), replacement is usually the better long-term investment. Also, if you have single-pane windows, upgrading to double-pane will make a significant difference in your home's comfort and energy bills.

Do I need to be home during the installation?

We ask that an adult be present at the beginning of the project to let our crew in and answer any initial questions, and at the end to do a final walkthrough. You do not need to stay near the crew while they work; many of our clients run errands while we complete the job.

Will replacing my windows really lower my energy bills?

Yes, significantly. In Middle Tennessee, we deal with hot, humid summers and chilly winters. Old, leaky windows force your HVAC system to work overtime. Our energy-efficient windows (featuring Low-E glass and argon gas fills) act as a barrier, keeping the expensive conditioned air inside your home. Many homeowners see a noticeable drop in their utility costs after an upgrade.

What type of warranty do you offer?

We stand behind our work. We offer a comprehensive warranty that covers both the window products (manufacturer’s warranty) and our craftsmanship (installation warranty). Because we are a local business, if you ever have an issue, you call us directly—not an automated hotline.

Will the installation make a mess in my house?

We treat your home with the utmost respect. Our team uses drop cloths to protect your flooring and furniture near the work areas. We also clean up all debris, including the old windows, and haul it away when we finish. We aim to leave your home cleaner than we found it.

Do you install windows year-round?

Absolutely. While spring and fall are popular times for renovations, we install windows 12 months a year. In the winter or peak summer, we use specialized techniques—like closing off individual rooms or replacing one unit at a time—to minimize energy loss during the swap.
